Came to this place earlier this month. Overall, it mostly felt like Plates (but it costed $38 instead of $55?60?). All the set up and most of the food items were the same as Plates. Some items to note were the sashimi (salmon, tuna, red tuna, etc.), shrimps and mussels (cocktail style or with garlic/onion), all the Asian stir-fry dishes, the snow crab leg, and all the desserts. I do wish they have the baked oyster Plates used to have though. Overall, in terms of their selection and quality, I feel like the only comparable Asian buffet is YM in Edmonton. Given the difference in location between these two places, I think this buffet is pretty good

Pretty bad experience not gonna lie. The service, the food was old and cold. Theres not that many options as how it shows on the video and what's worse that gives this a very low rating is the fact that instead of saying something they blocked me from their site on Facebook so now I cant comment on their stuff. They also deleted my comment regarding the problem. Very very upsetting

Make reservations for 7:30pm still need to wait for one hour, they close at 9:30, so you have one hour to "enjoy" your food, a lot of items not refill, our group is ten person, after we sit down and settle, you can imagine how rush to get what left for the Buffet, paid for full price and eat leftovers, talk to waitress after the meal and she talk to her manager, and no body even care to respond, never go back
For that price I will get better service and food -

Decent for buffet food. I find this place a bit over priced, but they have a huge variety. Check out my post for pics! Follow me on IG: tpangEATS

We came here today for the weekend buffet brunch and were quite happy with the opening special promotion of 10% off for our small group. Regardless, I am happy that this building has a restaurant in it again as I missed the old restaurants that had once been in this space. When I had looked up their website I was excited to try this place out, in part as it is affiliated with the Chinese Hot Pot Buffet restaurant that I also enjoy. This one has a much more varied menu but is a bit more family friendly and affordable in general.
Food quality for the Chinese food, dim sum and the small amount of the Japanese food that I tried was good. Occasionally food temperatures were a bit odd but given the stresses of a new restaurant, I imagine they can improve in this area. The Western food was varied and I wasn't particularly fond of the mac 'n' cheese for example (and some items were improperly labeled, probably with labels left from the Friday night seating), but I expected more of the Asian food provided which indeed did impress. My favourites were the fresh pineapple, the dim sum options, and the vegetarian sushi that I ate. I also really enjoyed the ice cream options. I understand that some of the desserts may have been still a bit frozen (but that's understandable as it's hard to keep up with as many customers as were in the restaurant at the time). I think the weakest part of this buffet is the Western food, but the flaws were pretty minor in general and I certainly didn't sample all the options that were available.
I think that there's a little bit of something for everyone here. The server who served our table was helpful and kept our water glasses full and bussed our table regularly. Occasionally it was hard to find spoons at the buffet itself but asking our server solved this problem (perhaps spoons could be provided with the regular cutlery?). I'll likely be back. I hope they succeed as it was a good experience overall.
